After marrying in March 2000, my husband
and I did a little traveling … and shopping.

We often admired some of the shops we had
been in and had more than one of those, you
know, WOULDN'T IT BE NICE …,
conversations. I had been working in the
medical field as an office manager for close to
twenty years and was close to burn out. My
husband noticed me coming home more and
more stressed. He knew I enjoyed being
around and helping people but thought I
needed a change.

After returning from a recent trip,
we visited a local shopping center
that had been under construction
for some time. It was now near
completion. While driving the
newly paved parking lot we
noticed the signs indicating the new
stores coming soon in all of the
windows … except one. We
looked at each other and knew we
had to make the call. In two short
weeks we were incorporated and
had the lease in hand. A week later
we were on our first stock buying
trip but that's another story.
